Our Annual Cultural Celebration Event

Date: TBD

The Black History Cultural Celebration, hosted by the Association of Africans in Okanagan, is a vibrant and inspiring annual event that honors Black history, culture, and resilience within the Okanagan community.

This celebration brings together residents from all walks of life to experience the richness of African heritage through captivating fashion showcases, soulful music, and delicious culinary delights.

In addition to the cultural showcase, the event features thought-provoking talk sessions that focus on Black creativity, entrepreneurship, and mental health—creating a platform for dialogue, empowerment, and education.

As the second edition of this growing tradition, the celebration not only highlights the contributions of Black individuals to the Okanagan but also fosters inclusivity and unity across diverse communities.

By supporting the Black History Cultural Celebration, you are investing in more than just an event—you are investing in a future where diversity and inclusion thrive. This is your chance to make a bold statement about your values and your commitment to shaping a better, more equitable world.

Let’s work together to make this year’s celebration impactful and unforgettable. Join us as a sponsor and help us create a legacy of cultural celebration, empowerment, and unity in the Okanagan.
